User :   Hi I wonder if you can help me. I am currently wondering about weather or not I should go for Lung cancer test or not. I have been diagnosed with cronic bronchitus when I was much younger. After moving to another state I only had Bronchitus twice. (currently on antibiotics for bronchitus) although I have been much better I still have cronic sinus. About a year ago I started getting back ache. In my right side and went to my dr. Also had a bad spasm in my neck wich they took out with fisio. My back ache hasnt gone away although it feels better then when it started. On my breast I feel tingling pain feelings almost next the breast bone. Feels as if I can pinch it between my two fingers. Have notice when I stress the sensation is worse. My worries is that all my pain is basicly located on the right hand side of my upper body. I am not on any pain medication as I feel it is not that bad. There is no severe pain just it feels kind of irretating. I have been coughing alot but am a lot better now that I am on the antibiotics. I have been for blood test about a year ago and they did the normal blood count for cancer and all was very good. I have been to my dr. and she did the routine check listened to my lungs felt for lumps in my breast and all but found nothing that bothers her. I was reading on the net of backside pain and lung cancer and are very worried now if this can be related. I must say I can breath easily and if I take breath breaths I feel now pain. Please can you assist me in what you think. Feel free to ask any questions if needed
Doctor :   Hi,
Doctor :   Let me read your query for few minutes to be able to have a good discussion here.
Doctor :   Is your appetite low ?
User :   Hi dr. no not really i have a good appetite.
Doctor :   And is there any recent weight loss ?
User :   no dr, not at all.
Doctor :   the rest is fine , according to the history yo have given i consider the cancer not being the chance
User :   dr. I lately have this grrr feeling in my lung although it basicly began with my sinusses when it was bad but it is a little bit getting better. My dr. did listen to my lungs two days ago. Could that be something to worry about. What could these pains in my right side of body be. It is as if muscle are contracting. It is in the front back and right arm. As I said it is not sore to say ouch this hurts it is just worringly irritating. My back pain has been going on for more then a year now
User :   sorry dr. I have a view questions will it be ok if I ask during the chat
Doctor :   the pain could be due to reflex spasm due to the bronchitis ,and the crepitation is due to the secretions
Doctor :   yes, please
User :   The pain has been there for more then a year now coming and going not getting worse. I can also see depending on how I sit I can feel it in my back and as soon as I straiten up the pain goes away. Dr if it was my lungs would I have been able to feel the pain in my back as a muscle pain when somebody messages on it
Doctor :   no , the pain would be dull and unaltered on massage or movement if its due to lungs
User :   it just feels as if my whole right side is so stiff and tense and full of small pains. I have a cronic cough. And I will confess I do smoke. Wanting to quit just so hard. I have alot of sinus can the grrr in my lung be of the sinuses
Doctor :   no ,its due t secretions in the lungs
User :   dr if the pain is from the lung do you think it will be felt in basicly one place or all over just a question. Can I ask what is secretions
Doctor :   secretions is the phlegm produced by the airways due to bronchitis
Doctor :   the pain if from lungs will be diffuse not localized
User :   sorry dr i am from south africa and afrikaans can dr please explain diffuse
Doctor :   diffuse means generalized , all over the side. but deep inside and unaltered by massage or positional variation
User :   thats the difference that i dont understand. my pain is all over the side but some by more movement it is more based from one point going up. to explain it better to dr sometimes when i sit and work the pain will be next to my wing when massaged it will feel better although i will feel pain in front on the breast as if i can pinch the pain between my finger and then in my shoulder as if walking around. but as i said it is not sore just irretating pains.
Doctor :   i get it , i still do not consider it to be cancer
User :   the fact that i can really take deep breaths and it really doesnt hurt does that also count positive
Doctor :   yes,
User :   is there anything that dr feel I should look out for or take in consideration. what does dr sugguest could be the culprit
Doctor :   Bronchitis is causing this pain , its reflex muscle spasms
Doctor :   if you still want to rule out cancer , get a High resolution CT scan
User :   can i have reflex muscle spasms for more then a year
Doctor :   yes,
User :   O ok didnt know that. what helps for that
Doctor :   Apply DICLOFENAC gel over the affected area when there is pain it will help
User :   have noticed that when I put on voltaren gel it does help. Dont know why I am so paranoid seems like I am watching my body for every pain it gets lately is this normal doctor
Doctor :   do not think over it more , as i have ruled out cancer
Doctor :   go for stretching exercises and apply the gel i mentioned if pains
User :   Thank you Dr. it really gave me some ease of mind.
Doctor :   you are welcome
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me
Doctor :   Kindly provide your feedback
User :   It's a pleasure. Thank you for your help and understandment I will provice feedback.
Doctor :   bye for now
