Doctor:How can I help you?
User:Hello Dr. I need your advise on the cramps during periods.
User:My daughter suffers cramps every month and right now, she has the same problem
User:Is there any medicine for her to give?
Doctor:Do you mean she has cramps with periods?
Doctor:May I know her age?
User:sure..she is 18 years
Doctor:Does the cramp subside after periods?
Doctor:Does she bleed excessively?
User:I consulted a lady doctor and she recommended Meftal.Spas
User:but, when she uses them, her bleeding flow is slowing down.
Doctor:Yes, that's a good medication to control dysmenorrhea
Doctor:Did it help her?
User:yes, she is able to get relief from pain, but she observed that there is less bleeding compared to the normal flow with the intake,
Doctor:Dysmenorrhea is common associated complaint with period. It is mostly normal and rarely can be due to uterine problems.
Doctor:Since she is under 18 years and has no other symptoms, I do not suspect serious problems at this point.
Doctor:As far as flow is concerned, there is gross variation in measuring the amount of flow.
User:do you recommend to continue Meftal Spas now as well and whenever she has the same problem?
Doctor:If your daughter has to use about 3-5 pads a days, it grossly means the flow is normal.
Doctor:If she feels meftal spas is reducing the flow
Doctor:making her use less than 2 pads, then she can try plain meftal tablets
User:oh ok..I think the usage is not more than 2 pads
Doctor:instead of meftal spas.
Doctor:If she is using more than 2 pads with meftal spas, then I think it is normal.
Doctor:She need not be worried.
Doctor:Alternatively she can try plain meftal tablets instead of meftal spas
Doctor:and see if that makes any difference with flow.
Doctor:Have you followed?
User:ok doctor..thank you so much for your advise. will try the plain meftal
User:yes I did. It is helpful.
Doctor:Do you have any other questions?
User:yes, I more..can I?
User:My husband has sneezes daily..and more of them when he takes head bath.
User:Is there any remedy for this or do you have any suggestion as to whom to consult for this problem.
User:My husband's age is 47.
Doctor:Sneezing is a normal response. It occurs due to sensitive nostril.
User:but I feel that is abnormal for him.
User:one cant have sneezes daily
Doctor:It is not a medical disease, it's just that his genetic blue print is causing excessive sneezing.
User:and he becomes restless sometimes.
Doctor:He doesn't need any treatment if he has no other complaints apart from few episodes of sneezing.
User:oh ok.
Doctor:However if sneezing is followed with nasal congestion/stuffy nose,
Doctor:running nose and headaches
Doctor:he can visit an ENT surgeon and talk about treating it.
User:oh ok.
User:sure..thank you so much.
Doctor:You are welcome.
Doctor:Do you have any other query?
User:no that's it.
User:Wish you a happy festival time:)
Doctor:Wish you the same.
Doctor:Thanks for consulting me.
Doctor:Bye for now.
