User :   I have been cramping for about 5 days now, but no period. My period is about 8 days late. I had a tubal ligation in 2006. When Should I be concerned enough to see a docyor?
Doctor :   Hi,
Doctor :   May i know your age ?
User :   I am about to turn 33
Doctor :   ok, Is this the first time the period getting delayed ?
User :   The most it has ever been delayed was 2 days, except for my 2 pregnancies.
Doctor :   Are you on any medications ?
User :   no
Doctor :   its a week after which you must have to visit a gynecologist and get examined
Doctor :   do not wait anymore ,
User :   If I am pregant will it show up in a urine test even if it is ectopic?
Doctor :   could be a hormonal glitch , can get better on own but its always better to rule out other possibilities by clinic examination
Doctor :   yes, but its less likely after tubectomy but not impossible though
Doctor :   yes tubal pregnancy too can be detected by urine test
User :   Is it possible that all of this could be caused by stress?
Doctor :   yes, very common possibility , where the hormones can go for an imbalance leading to such a situation
User :   That is exactly what I am hoping it is. Thank you. I will go see the doctor in the morning.
Doctor :   you are welcome
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me kindly provide your feedback
Doctor :   bye for now
Doctor :   take care
User :   will do bye
