Doctor:Typhoid present with fever. Vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain and loose stool are more the associated complaints than nasal congestion/blocked nowe.
Doctor:However with widal test revealing significant titre we cannot exclude typhoid at this point of time.
Doctor:Now since you are on antibiotic, I would suggest you to take the last dose today.
Doctor:Azithromycin (atm) is given for minimum period of 3 days.
User:All the dose given were over
User:Should I buy and contin ue?
Doctor:If you have taken atm (azithromycin) for 3 days, then you may stop it. You need to take it for minimum of 3 days.
Doctor:Once you are done with 3 days, wait for couple of days and see if you feel better.
Doctor:If you aren't better, you will need to repeat the tests - complete blood count, urine routine and Widal.
Doctor:For better and ethical practice, I would recommend that you repeat the tests
Doctor:after you consult a physician.
Doctor:Repeat widal tests will help us know if you have an active typhoid infection.
Doctor:Do you still have fever now?
Doctor:Are you there?
