User :   hi im 20 years old and a female. for the past week ive been having abdominal pain and last night it was so severe i couldnt walk

User :   today its not as bad but it still hurts to walk and carry my son

User :   last night it was so bad it was radiating towards my rectum

Doctor :   or increase in the frequency of micturation
User :   i have been having normal bowel movements

User :   i have always had severe cramps during my period but this isnt the same pain

User :   i took some advil last night so i could get some sleep
User :   the only Rx im on is Kariva the birth control pain

User :   i have pain all the time. it doesnt matter what im doing
Doctor :   the pain seems to be originating from the deeper organ in the lower abdomen and it is congestive in nature
Doctor :   you require analgesics like naproxen for the relief of the pain
Doctor :   as well as rest and hot water fomentation
Doctor :   i suggest you to get an ultrasound examination of the lower abdomen look for the cause of the congestive pain

User :   is it important that i have it looked at today or can i make an appoinment for a few days from now?
Doctor :   take naproxen tablet once in the morning and once in the evening for three days, adequate rest in the form of bed rest is advocated and hot water fomentation to the lower stomach
Doctor :   if the pain reduces well and fine

otherwise it require investigation
Doctor :   and as such it ultrasound examination is not an emergency now
