User :   for the past 6-8 weeks i have been experiencing a whooshing sound in my right ear that is pulsatile
User :   i have not had any recent sinus or ear infections
User :   i have noticed that when i push on my carotid artery, it stops until i let off

User :   no it doesn't hurt at all, it is just extremely annoying and it is affecting my daily activities and my sleep
