Hi, age 25. First of all thank you very much for your time. My query is with regards to acidity /Gastric problem
Pleasure is mine to help you
Please proceed further
For the past 4 months I have been experiencing constant pain in the stomach which radiates to the upper back covering the right shoulder.
I recently visited a Doctor & was given medication
the symptoms reduced a bit , but last week after I hit the gym, the following day onwards the pain came back
& it occurs every 2 hrs
especially during the night between 1 a.m & 6 a.m ... it aggrevates more
I am not taking any spicy food for the past few weeks though
So just wanted to hear from you if there is a better remedy to treat this problem
Your problem is easy to resolve
Just let me know what time you eat your last meal in a day
well. I have my dinner at around 9 p.m
What time do you go to bed?
between 11 or 12
Just before you go to sleep or fifteen minutes before, try eating a cup of curd
What medications are you currently on?
I had taken Stancef -200 for 5 days (Dosage was 1 after breakfast & 1 after dinner. I have completed the dosage) & am taking Rabonik (Dosage is 1 before breakfast)
for which I am taking Cof Ryl syrup
You may consider increasing the dosage of Rabonik to twice daily, one before dinner as well
This will take care of the acidity
Drink plenty of water
Nothing to worry
Are you there?
I already got a endoscopy done earlier on April 12th & every thing was normal. Would you still recommend an endoscopy again.
April 12 th of this year?
oh, then it is not required to repeat the endoscopy
Consider increasing the doasge of Rabonit as said
ok sure. Would there be any side effect if I increase the dosage & how many days should I continue it for ?
There would not be any side effects as such
You may have to continue it for a 2 week period
Please consult your doctor before you increase the dosage
ok sure. & would you suggest something for the dry cough ?
as it is quite persistant since past 2 months
You will benefit by drinking warm water always
Also, green tea would be beneficial
You can try ginger milk as well
Continue the syrup that you are currently prescribed
ok then, that is all from my end ma'am. Thank you very much for patiently answering all the queries & your recommendations.
Thank you too
Get well soon
Bye for now
sure, Bye :)
