User:Hi doc.
User:for last few days i can feel some pain in my chest and shoulder area
User:thoug its not a consistent pain
User:but some stifness is there in my neck and shoulder
User:so is there something i should worry about
User:also i am a regular smoker
User:so now a bit concerned about it

Doctor:Do you have any other symptoms along with this pain - fever, cough, breathing difficulties or any other unusual symptoms?
User:well breathing difficulties in can say just a bit and cough
User:but no fever till now
Doctor:Is this is a constant pain or intermittent pain?
User:no this is intermittent pain only . for last 3-4 days
Doctor:If this is intermittent pain - which time of the day is it more?
Doctor:Did you notice any other triggering factors that induces chest pain?
Doctor:When does it reduce?
User:during day time when i am in offc . no nothing as such triggers it or reduces
User:mostly when i have glass of water it slows down for time being

Doctor:The symptoms that you describe does not match any serious organic medical condition.
Doctor:It definitely does not seem to be arising from the heart.
Doctor:If the cough is excessive; this may be causing muscular pain such as yours.
User:Also the cough is not excessive
Doctor:You can also be dealing with stress related symptoms too.
Doctor:At this point of time, my suggestions to you is
User:yes it may be ... been under huge stress in office n personal life
Doctor:1. Take a mild pain relieving medicines round the clock.
Doctor:I suggest Tab Dolo 650mg thrice a day for 2-3 days.
Doctor:2. Drink plenty of fluids and rest well.
Doctor:3. If you been extremely stressed, try some stress buster techniques - yoga, transcendental meditation, music or physical exercises.
Doctor:you may also consider taking a break from work
Doctor:You can try this option for few days say a week.
Doctor:If symptoms do not improve you can consider visiting your doctor for examination.
