User :   i recently out of noware begun having a burning sensation at the tip of my penis. not only when urinating but all day long. at first it was mild and i (yes i am here)
User :   it has gotten worse and now i also have a slight pain in the stomac, lower stomac almost as if it was gas

User :   no fever, no discharge, stream of urine is normal, no blood.... what is micturition

User :   no constipation

User :   could it be kidneys or a colon thing?
User :   it definatly feels like an infection of some kind though
Doctor :   your symptoms indicate that you may be having cystitis, (infection of bladder)
Doctor :   your symptoms are not suggestive of involvement of kidney or bladder
User :   and that would hurt all the time like this not just when going to the bathroom?
User :   what would be the treatment for cystitis

User :   what kind of antibiotics i am in my mid 20s
User :   i was taking amoxicilin when this started

Doctor :   you may need antibiotics depending on the bacteria found on urinalysis & culture
User :   ok, my wifes family doctor said i might need sulfer?
Doctor :   no, amox, does not affect the bladder in any way

User :   im out side the country, and medical care is hard to come by on the weekends

User :   ok ive been trying to drink as much water as i can
Doctor :   this is a common infection, & u can get it from blood, as well

Doctor :   causes - blood borne infection, decreased immunity, absence of general hygiene
Doctor :   Sexually transmitted diseases also cause UTI
User :   me and my wife both have hpv but have been without outbreaks in years
User :   could that effect this
Doctor :   HPV is not a cause of UTI commonly
User :   im glad
User :   that already messed my life up enough
Doctor :   You need not worry, a course of antibiotics, can help this condition
User :   alright, how soon should i see an improvement after i begin taking the antibiotics
Doctor :   get a urinalysis & urine culture at a hospital, or clinic nearby after having a physical examination
Doctor :   improvement - seen in a day or two
User :   there is no swelling no redness is the strange thing
Doctor :   for the burning pain, please drink cranberry juice, it will help
User :   just burniing at the tip and now toda begining a pain in the lower abdomin
