User :   For the second time in just over a month I have become sick. The main symptoms are basically the same both times. The first time lasted for about five days. This time I am improving but it is going to take at least a week to be able to function normally. The symptoms are as follows. Cold Hands and Feet. Hot scalp face and neck. This can be controlled moderatedly well with Tylenol. With or without the Tylenol, I will change extremely fast from that to feeling extremely hot to and sweeting all over. My scalp is also sore much of the time. This has really screwed up my sleeping. for the first five days I never got more than an hour or two depending on what the tylenol was doing. Appetite was way down for days. I have started forceing my self to eat. So I am slowing working back up to a normal diet. Here is the Medical History that you must know. I am a 40 year old gay male. I have had multiple sex partners of the last year. All were oral sex. Some with a condom some were without. I had a negative HIV antibody two years ago. Besides STD and HIV risk factors I am also at an elevated risk Lyme Disease. I do understand Lyme is much more rare than HIV here but... I walk at least a mile in woods everyday sometimes five mile. The woods I walk have more deer than dogs. I have seen tick on me there that were small that dog ticks.
Doctor :   Hello.
User :   Hello
Doctor :   Let me read your query.
User :   I meant the ticks are smaller than dog ticks.
Doctor :   Have you done any tests?
User :   No. Since I have to pay all medical expenses out of pocket I have been trying to decide what I think is the best course. I think tomorrow I will get a full round of free STD tests.
Doctor :   Try to get at lest some basic lab investigations.
User :   The first time I got sick I thought It would be too early for an antibody test. But the second of getting sick does not look like an acute HIV infection.
Doctor :   like complete blood test.
Doctor :   urine test.
User :   I am not poor.
User :   Stupid acting sometimes but not poor.
Doctor :   Ok.
User :   Anything you thank I should call 911 about in before I get to the doctor tomorrow or tuesday?
