User:my name is XXXXXXX and I am 32
User:i lately realized that my knees are giving me some problems these days
Doctor:May I know your height and weight.
User:there was a clicking sound for almost 1 to 2 years now
User:i am 5.8'' and 87kgs
User:and recently i am sensing noticeable pain in my knees

User:not much that i cannot walk,but the is not small enuf to ignore also
Doctor:Ok was done some 8 months back and i was asked to lose weight
Doctor:Did you check it up with an Orthopedic surgeon?
User:he suggested me some medicine for 15 days and it was fine for that period
Doctor:Is there any swelling in the joint now?
User:he asked me not to continue the medicine after 15 days as he said it could result in sugar problems
User:no swelling now
User:but if i touch it in some areas i can sense little discomfort

Doctor:2. Activity to increase the muscle strength.
Doctor:3. Maintaining posture while standing, sitting or lying.

Doctor:5. Medication for pain (When pain is more).

Doctor:Posture: You need to stand straight, sit straight and sleep straight.
Doctor:Never bear weight on only one leg.
User:yeah i do.
Doctor:When carrying a weight make sure you distribute the weight in both hands equally.
Doctor:While sitting, make sure you keep your legs in normal position rather than crossed legs.
Doctor:Supplementation: You may take nutritional supplements such as Calcium.
User:mm..i need to correct this..sitting..
Doctor:Pain killers when pain is more can be used.
User:i have a habit of crossed legs..i sit crosslegged almost 70% times
Doctor:Changing that would help a lot.

User:i was little i heard from some of my friends that it could be oestroarthritis and it has not solution.

User:mm..he said there is nothing to worry for now.
