Doctor :
chronic abdominal pain, with mucus in stools and nausea can indicate these following possible diagnosis
Doctor :
1) ulcerative colitis
Doctor :
2) crohns disease
Doctor :
3) chronic appendicitis
User :   i had an appendicite operation happened on last dec
Doctor :
you wil require to be examined in detail by gastroenterologist and do further tests like
Doctor :
endoscopy or a colonoscopy
User :   ok
Doctor :
to rule ot or confirm the first two possiblities
User :   ok
Doctor :
and if you have had an appendix operation in past with pain in the same region again
User :   is it something serious
Doctor :
it would suggest possible adhesions due to the scarring effect of the last operations
User :   no the pain is bit up not the same region
Doctor :
and if the adhesions are present then they wil need to be removed surgically
User :   ok
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
then i would recommend you to go ahead with the tests sugested
User :   thats why they did Barrium meal test
User :   and the test was fine
User :   ok
Doctor :
and take a second opinion from another gastroenterologist if needed before proceeding further once the tests are done
User :   u mean to say endoscopy or colonoscopy
Doctor :   colonoscopy or endoscopy will help to visualise the insie of gut directly
User :   ok
Doctor :
through the use of fibreoptic camera ttached to the scope
Doctor :
which is a better visualization tool than barium meal
User :   ok
Doctor :
have you followed what i said?
User :   yes

Is there any thing else I can help you with?
