User :   I have a problem with severe eczema.

May i know your age, gender and since when are you having this?
User :   Yes, I'm going to give you some background. Male, 26, and all my life, and dissapeared at about 10 and only recently reappeared.
User :   A few months ago, I scratched the top layer(s) of skin from the palm and index finger of my right hand. About two weeks ago,

it became infected, and I went to see my doctor, he gave me Augmentin (not sure of generic name), to get rid of the

infection. I have also had it bandaged up.
User :   On Friday, I stopped using bandages, and they gave my Trimovate cream to put on myself, and wear cotton gloves. This, I am

told, is to last about two weeks.

User :   As in a regrowth?

User :   I have only been using it for a day.

User :   My doctor has said that I need to be off work to reduce the chances of more infection, and because the wound is still quite

open. I don't really mind too much, however this is getting me quite depressed.

User :   But it's not psoriasis, it's eczema.

Hance you need to take all the necessary precautons to avoid the allergens.

That is why it is advisable for you to be at home.

avoid unnecessary infections.
Doctor :   Take the antibiotics that has been given to you.

If you still want to go and work i would suggest you to cover the affected area with a clean soft cloths or the gloves and go to work.

Yes you can go with that, but try taking all the measures to avoid external contact with the dust and avoid fingering.

And make sure the gloves that you are using is also clean to prevent infections.
