User:i have a 3 month old baby girl
User:She has developed white patches on her face
Doctor:I am sorry to hear this
Doctor:May I know the duration of these patches?

User:Initially she had ring worm like patch in red but that has changed to white now,She is fair but these patches are more white
User:Since 1 month
Doctor:New born babies tend to have these skin pigmentation which are normal
Doctor:Is she having any other symptoms like fever, loose stools?
User:There is also a small 2 inch long oval shaped patch just next to her ear,,this is whiter that her skin color.
Doctor:They are all most probably benign nevus
User:She has loose tool and mild fever,i think this is because yesterday we had given her vaccination
Doctor:They tend to disappear by 6 months

Doctor:They are benign skin pigmentation of no significance

Doctor:They will resolve spontaneously
Doctor:by the end of 6 months or definitely by 1 year of age
