User:The problem is related to my kid XXXXXXX Age 2.3 Yrs

User:he frequently not keep well...Cold cough & fever...
User:last night he started fever with sheviring 104
User:i would like to know how can i boost his immune system
Doctor:How is he doing now?
User:as he didnt get sufficient breast post his birth..
User:today doc has given medicine...and antibiotic (Advent)
Doctor:Is he on any medication?
User:and steriod injection to reduce fever immediately
Doctor:How frequently does he get fever, cough and cold?
User:But frequent Cold Cough & Fever is my major concern...
User:2-3 times a month
Doctor:Till what age was he breast fed?
User:As my wife was not lacting (I mean no milk) to my kid...fully dependent of Lactogen
User:and on top of that his perforation operation was done at the time of birth...when he was 7nd half months
Doctor:Children who are well breastfed till age of 2 yrs are found to have less respiratory infections.
User:so how can i boost his immune system
Doctor:What you need to do is to impprove his immunity.

Doctor:How is his growth and activity?
User:intake is good..nd his weight is also more than the require weight at his age
User:between 15-17 kg
User:normal seems 13 kg

User:no other issues...apart from mentioned above...
Doctor:The main concern would be nutrition.
Doctor:He should be given enough of fruits and vegetables to improve the normal functions in his body.
User:Apart from regular diet (Food) how can i complete his other health requirements we have already started complan for him....
Doctor:Vitamin C supplementation has shown to boost the immune levels.

Doctor:Along with it Vitamin B complex and Zinc gives an added effect.
Doctor:Syrup. Zincovit 5ml twice daily after food can be given.
User:it will assist to improve his immunity ???
User:it contains both Vit B & Zinc as u mentioned right ?
Doctor:It is a known fact that nowadays we do not have enough nutrients in the food we have.
Doctor:Yes. Zincovit contains Zinc and many other vitamins and minerals.
Doctor:It includes Vitamin B and C too.
User:apart from this we have kept his one medicine on calcium (Parnacal) which doc advised us as low on calcium side
Doctor:You will also have to keep a Paracetamol Syrup at home to give him, if he has fever often.
Doctor:Avoid giving him any cold water to drink.
Doctor:Always give freshly cooked meals.
User:Doc advised Combiflam on Fever...

User:so can i continue parallely both the medicine Zincovit & harm right ?

User:Secondly some white boils has been occured on his lower cheek and pediatrician advised (Momisoft) cream...hardly 6-8 boils small ones is it ok ?

Doctor:As sometimes, some superficial bacterial infections may be present in a child.
Doctor:Rashes commonly do come with viral infections.
Doctor:Since your pediatrician has already taken a look, it shouldn't concern much.

User:i have taken a not of zincovit..which i will continue from today...
User:One more thing my friend advised me to use cologne drops while sponging does it add any thing extra...

User:One last Q for my problem..ive been facing lower back problem since last 2-3 days..

Doctor:Do not sit in the same position continuously for long hours.
