User:I have my nephew 1 and half years old
User:he is vomitting the food intake most of the times
User:any specific reasons for this? and any medicines to overcome?
Doctor:What is the food that is given?
User:boiled rice fully crushed with little dal
Doctor:Is that all foods including milk is vomited?
User:made as paste
User:and usually idly, dosa crushed
Doctor:Milk and water are also vomited?
User:he dont have any problem as such

User:but only after eating he does this

Doctor:is he hungry and asking for food ?
Doctor:How long since the current problem started , vomiting food?

User:we are feeding him on a spec time
User:this problem is there from the day he started eating

User:almost 3 to 6 months

User:and he vomits middle of eating

User:so till then whatever he took he'll vomit out
User:he gave DOMSTAL for digestion
User:and told this is a regular prob

User:he advised that this is normal for all babies and the weight is ok
Doctor:Ok the doctor thinks that the baby may have reflux which is common
Doctor:Ok fussy eaters may take some multivitamins so that he is not deficient on a long run

Doctor:Your doctor can prescribe a prokinetic agent which will fasten the food from stomach to next part that is duodenum

Doctor:so the dosage has to be rightly calculated

Doctor:so it is not ideal to prescribe it here
User:he's 8.4 kgs
Doctor:So once you go back to the doctor during regular check up you can ask for prokinetics
Doctor:Till then just give your baby the same food
Doctor:and multivitamin syru
User:what's that multivitamin syru?
Doctor:You can give Sy PROVITAl, 5 ml before food
User:how many times?
Doctor:Two times a day, before food for 2 weeks
Doctor:The other name can be VITAMAX
