Child getting yellow discharge in eyes, eyelids stuck. How to cure? - Online Doctor Chats
How are you?
fine.. my 2 year old is getting yellow discharge in her eyes
the eyelids are stuck in the morning
for the yellow discharge, it seems like a bacterial conjunctivitis
as far as the cough is concerned
will it be ok by itself or a medical consultation in person is required?
a medical consultation is required
she will require antibiotic drops and ointment
for the cough, steam inhalation is required
she has cold...
if it does not go away
see a physician
he'll prescribe an anti-allergic tablet if there is no sign of infection
is the conjunctivitis a serious problem
but its better you take her today evening
is there anything else I can help with?
she always sucks two fingers
the middle and the ring finger
how could i get rid of this
its not a problem
I dont think you can really do anything to get rid of it
but her teeeth shows somne distortion in the allignment
children this age will put something or the other in their mouth
that must be irritating to her
its not related to the sucking
its possible that to soothe the irritation she's doing it
otherwise, just keep her hands clean
any more questions that I can address?
thanks ... bye
