Doctor:How can I help you?
User:I have 6 months old baby boy. His weight is 7KG. Since yesterday morning he is crying continously.
User:We met the local GP and took medicine. But no use.
User:What could be the possible reason?

Doctor:Is he running fever?
Doctor:Does he stop crying after feeding?
Doctor:Is he active / play around?
User:No. He is just 6 months old. He cant even sit.

Doctor:I understand that but I would want to know if you find any difference in his activities for the last 2 days.
Doctor:Is he drowsy or playful as he was couple of days back?
User:No there is no changes in his activities so far.
Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:Irritability / continuous crying in a 6 month baby is a worrisome feature.
Doctor:This irritability may be due to simple colic problems or problem with his upper respiratory passage (ear).
Doctor:Or it could also be due to serious infections.
Doctor:If he is not having fever and there is no much change in his activities, then serious infection is less likely.
