Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :
How can I help you?
User :   hello doctor good evening
User :   i am a 36 year old male
Doctor :
Ok
User :   i recently got chest pain and went to see a doctor and was detected to have acute coronary syndrome with troponin t positive up to 0.98 ng
Doctor :   Ok

User :   and the doctor insisted on coronary angiogram which revealed 100% occlusion in the LCX for which I underwent PTCA with drug eluting stenting placement
Doctor :   Ok

User :   sir, now that 25 days are over after my PTCA, I am highly worried about getting a second heart attack and my chances of getting recurrent myocardial infarction, sudden cardiac arrest or restenosis etc.
Doctor :   With a stent in place

Doctor :
and with a good lifestyle
User :   yes sir
User :   yes sir
Doctor :
you shall not have any such attacks in majority of cases
Doctor :
you can lead a good life
Doctor :
there are people with bypass surgeries doing better
Doctor :
You are less than that
Doctor :
and also an young age as well
User :   sir, i have one doubt ... what does the troponin T level high risk at 0.98 ng means
Doctor :   It was elevated due to the occlusion

User :   not due to the heart muscle damage or death of the heart muscles???
Doctor :   yes it is
Doctor :
because of a bit of damage
Doctor :
but not a full or a significant one
User :   how can i find out to what percentage my heart got damaged
Doctor :
you shall have the required cardiac activity even now
Doctor :
What is your ejection fraction?
Doctor :
in echocardiogram
User :   do not know
Doctor :
Ok
Doctor :
Do send a mail about it to YYYY@YYYY
Doctor :
I shall get back to you on that
Doctor :
if it is more than 65% it is fine enough
Doctor :
to perform normal activities
User :   otherwise
Doctor :
but there shall be limitation in strenous activities
Doctor :
and you should refrain from such
Doctor :
For better guidance I shall advise you to take a second opinion from our esteemed Cardiologist Dr AAAAAAA
User :   how can i contact him
Doctor :   I shall give you the link

Doctor :
Just a minute
Doctor :
WWW.WWWW.WW User :   do i have to pay anything more
Doctor :   It is a seperate service
User :   kay, please tell me what is my life expectancy from now on
Doctor :   there are no estimates like that

Doctor :
You can lead a normal life
Doctor :
with good expectancy
Doctor :
You should not think negative as well
Doctor :
as it is also not a good aspect on the health
Doctor :
and leads to stress
User :   but i have two daughters and my mind is fully obsessed with how long it will be before I get a second heart attack
Doctor :
You should not worry
Doctor :
What has your cardiologist told you?
User :   he said i have a normal heart and adequate lv function and can expect to live longer provided i maintain a good life style
Doctor :   Yes that is what I meant by the ejection fraction

Doctor :
it is normal
Doctor :
and he has said the same
Doctor :
You can always lead a good life
Doctor :
and there is nothing preventing you other than worries
Doctor :
I would suggest you to go for counselling as well
Doctor :
as I do understand that you have passed stressful situations
User :   sir, what is the diff between acute coronary syndrome and acute myocardial infarction
Doctor :   It is the same event

Doctor :
acute coronary syndrome
Doctor :
there shall be blockage in the coronary atery
Doctor :
and then it leads to infarction
Doctor :
And one more sincere advice from my side
User :   zjd
Doctor :   Do not try to get the info on net

User :   yes sir, I will not
Doctor :
that leads to confusion rather than calming
