User :   2 days back after i sneezed i got a pain in the centre of the chest.
User :   the pain has reduced but i can still feel i

User :   what shud i do?
Doctor :   is there associated symptoms like running nose, fever, headache, throat irritation, nausea, sputum?
User :   sneezing is from past one wek
User :   headache...running nose
User :   I have a feeling i pulled my muscle
User :   bcoz when i used to bow down or turn my neck the pain used to come
Doctor :   ok. are you in any medication for your symptoms?
Doctor :   the acute increase in chest pressure when you cough or sneeze, can lead to spasms causing pain and discomfort
User :   no...i am under medication for foodpipe and stomach infection
Doctor :   the effect can stay upto 24 - 48 hours time, and once your symptoms are relieved, these also come down
User :   yes the pain is reduced over the last 2 days

Doctor :   ok, if the pain has been reducing, then it is better, it will slowly come back to normal.
Doctor :   when do you get the sneezing episodes more? is it in the morning? or is it after you face with dusty environment?
User :   morning and night

User :   very rarely i sneeze during the day..

User :   yes it is
User :   but very little improvement
Doctor :   ok. it takes some time for the medications to show effects if the problem is chronic
User :   its a new doctor and the medication started last week
Doctor :   now coming to th e sneezing problem. if the sneezing is more during morning and night, it could suggest an allergic phomenon.
User :   yeah thats what my doctor said..
User :   One problem that i am facing from past few days is not getting proper sleep
Doctor :   ok. is it due to throat irritation? or the nose block?
User :   I dont know the reason.
User :   I just open my eyes and close it again.....No reasons as such
User :   i get up more then 5-6 times in the night but within few minutes go to sleep again
Doctor :   if yes, then it could be due to the allergic phenomenon and resultant 'post nasal drip' causing the irritation and waking you up form sleep
User :   ok
User :   Can i o anything to get a sound sleep...without medecines?
Doctor :   yes, you can, you need to have steam inhalation and warm salt water gargling before you go to sleep
Doctor :   have a warm glass of milk before sleeping with turmeric and pepper in it if possible
Doctor :   it will help in clearing the throat and aiding in having a good sleep
User :   i cant have pepper bcoz of stomach infection but can have turmeric
User :   ill take steam and do garling.....I am use to doing it.
Doctor :   yes. ok you can continue to have milk with turmeric. continue gargling and steam inhalation atleast 2 times a day
User :   ok
Doctor :   get an allergen patch test done to identify if any allergen is responsible for your symptoms
User :   yes...My doc says i am allergic to dust
User :   he said after looking at my vlood report
User :   blood report
Doctor :   ok. did he start you on antihistamines/antiallergic medications after seeing the report?
User :   he had started hetrazen but had to stop bcoz of my stomach
Doctor :   you can continue to take it along with the medications prescribed for the stomach problem.
User :   ok
Doctor :   follow other measures like not leaving stomach empty for more than 3 hours except when you sleep
Doctor :   have bland foods, avoid spicy, fried items
User :   i am doing that
User :   in the morning i am passing stols 2-3 times
User :   stools
User :   its not watery.....but semi
User :   is it normal
Doctor :   ok.
Doctor :   yes it could be normal when taking the medications prescribed

Doctor :   increase the fibre intake in food, apart from fatty foods
User :   what can i have?
Doctor :   in form of fruits, green leafy veg, pulses, etc
Doctor :   stick to simple foods, baked form, not fried
User :   ok
User :   oil put in vegitables are fine?
Doctor :   yes fine, your oil intake should not increase more than 4-5 tsp.
Doctor :   in the entire day
User :   ok...will take care of that.
