User :   Doctor are you there?
Doctor :   I cannot predict the chances of infection.
Doctor :   If the steak contained infected parasite, only then there are chances of infection.
Doctor :   However, the chances are fairly reduced if it was cooked properly.
User :   Is it common for beef to be infected with this parasite?
Doctor :   The host that is commonly affected is the cat, however any animal can get affected.
Doctor :   If the meat that you had was properly cooked, then the chances of the parasite getting transmitted is low.
