Doctor :   hi
User :   HI Doctor
Doctor :   Drcccc here
Doctor :   please proceed with your health query
Doctor :   how can I help you?
User :   This is regarding what is my likelyhood of being infected with some sort of HIV
User :   I had an encounter about 4 weeks ago, in which case a lady performed oral sex to me, unprotected
User :   now, it turns out that she wasn't particularly skilled and she was rather aggressive with my genitle and caused a Frenulum to be torn
User :   but in the middle of the oral, i let that one pass-by
User :   so I will go to an HIV clinic anyway
Doctor :   ok
User :   but if she has HIV - what is my liklihood of being infected
User :   there wasn't any visible blood
User :   just a slight sting
Doctor :   if she is HIV infected, the likelihood of you getting inefcted is high as frenulum was torn
Doctor :   HIV is present is all body fluids including salive
Doctor :   *saliva
User :   ah
Doctor :   and torn frenulum can be an entry point for it in your body
User :   ah
Doctor :   since injury was involved, and HIV status not sure, you could have gone ahead wih "post exposure prophylaxis" within 72 hours
Doctor :   it could have reduced your chance of infection by about 80%
User :   ah
User :   it may be too late
Doctor :   now since 4 weeks are up, you will need to go ahead with test to confirm if you have got it or not
Doctor :   so visit a HIV clinic soon, get counseling and tests done, go ahead with a PCR DNA test which will confirm if you have got it or not.
Doctor :   if PCRDNA test comes back negative, you need not do any further tests
Doctor :   if it shows positive, then it would mean that you are having infection since this test detects active multiplying virus rna.
Doctor :   have you followed what I have said?
Doctor :   are you there?
Doctor :   are you there?
Doctor :   I have to close the window as you are not responding. Please chat with our doctors 24/7 for medical queries.
