User :   its ok i am a doctor
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
i will explain
Doctor :
the vit b-12 deficiency causes subacute combined degeneration
Doctor :   so when Vit B12 is given in high doses, the degeneration is reversed and the functions restored,
Doctor :   it takes a long time
User :   how accurate is a tomography
Doctor :
if it is MRI it is more accurate then CT
Doctor :
as it differentiates minute details
Doctor :
Is there any thing else I can help you with?
User :   yes, in your opinion why do you think there is so much ignorance about ataxia ?
Doctor :   I have told you earlier that if the diagnosis of cerebral artrophy with ataxia is purely due to Vit-B deficiency
Doctor :
then the condition is reversible if high does of Vit B-12 , B6, B1 is given in time
Doctor :
so the ataxia also gets reversed
Doctor :
the treating doctors there might be folowing the same principle in treating your wife
Doctor :
is she on any physiotherapy?
User :   no, none prescribed
Doctor :
physiotherapy can support early recovery and help her to cope up better with ataxia.
Doctor :
because the medical treatment along with physical stimutaion helps regenerate nerves and reversal faster
Doctor :
so what i would like to recommend you is
User :   yes but this is Spain, even the neuroligist didnt know what an albino was
Doctor :
continue the current treatment as prescribed by the treating doctors
Doctor :   discuss possibility of giving injectables along with starting of physiotherapy
