User :   Yes i am having a pain on the left side of my forehead i want what it is

User :   am 40
User :   This is the second time. It started 3 weeks ago for twenty minute and then now

User :   As if my artery is pumping up

Doctor :   Do you have any associated symptoms such as nausea, blurring of vision, vomiting associated with the symptoms?
User :   No
Doctor :   Do you have any other medical illness such as hypertension?
User :   I don't know

Doctor :   let me explain to you.
Doctor :   One sided pulsating headaches can occur due to multiple reasons.
Doctor :   It could be a simple headache with no apparent cause, or a migraine or tension headaches.
Doctor :   They are not concerning problem if symptoms such as headaches lasting for hours, associated symptoms such as fever, nausea, vomiting, blurring of vision is not seen.
Doctor :   Since you do not report of such associated symtoms,
Doctor :   you need not worry.
Doctor :   Use simple pain killers such as tylenol tablets or advil tablets if the headache is severe.
Doctor :   Follow it up with good rest and regular sleep habits.
Doctor :   Watch out for the additional symptoms that I mentioned.
Doctor :   If such symptoms occur or if your headaches are very recurrent, then you need to see a doctor for evaluation.

Doctor :   you may need evaluation that includes blood pressure check ups, further lifestyle modifications as well as regular medications if such symptoms turn up.
