User :   Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query     Hello, i dont know if this is sexually related but i don't think of any other possibility... i have been masturbating daily for months now, sometimes two or three times a day... first my left leg started going kinda numb then i noticed some swelling on my left thigh, now i feel pressure in my thigh and the feeling spreads throughout my whole leg (and even my left arm) , specially after masturbation. what can it be and what medicine should i take for it??
User :   hello?
Doctor :   hi
Doctor :   Dr. XXXXXXXX here. let me read what you have typed
User :   ok thanks Dr
Doctor :   since when have you been masturbating?
Doctor :   since how many days are you facing the above mentioned problem?
User :   lol... since i can remember... but i started doing it daily since maybe january... and i have been feeling this for like 4 days now
Doctor :   please provide your age, location, occupation, height, weight and details of past medical illness if any.
User :   23 years, im in new york, student, i weight 70 kg and had surgery for varicose veins 2 yrs ago
Doctor :   is the pain in the same leg which got operated for varicose veins?
User :   i got operated on both sides
Doctor :   any sexual activity is related with generalized vasodilation causing excess blood supply to all the body parts
Doctor :   and can result in pain, and numbness
Doctor :   since there is history of past surgery, you should get the pain and numbness evaluated
Doctor :   by an examination and possible nerve studies
Doctor :   by your doctor
User :   what about the swelling? i look at the mirror and my left thigh looks bigger
Doctor :   where is the swelling in the thigh located?
Doctor :   is it on both sides?
User :   no just the left side
Doctor :   could you describe the swelling in detail?
User :   well my leg looks perfectly normal except for it looking bigger (like if i was stronger in that leg per se) and i feel pressure inside
User :   and numbness
Doctor :   does the swelling come after masturbation or is it present always?
User :   it started only after masturbation but now i feel it most of the time
Doctor :   ok.
Doctor :   is the numbness and pain radiating more towards down the leg or do they travel up towards back?
User :   it goes more towards my foot
Doctor :   do you feel chest pain and pain radiating to left arm and jaw after you masturbate?
User :   mmm maybe...
User :   its not pain pain... its more unconfortable and funny feeling, numbess and pressure
Doctor :   if chest pain and left arm pain is associated, it suggests load on heart due to the vasodilatation effect that you have after masturbation.
Doctor :   it should be evluated by doing a baseline ECG and and ECHOCARDIOGRAM
Doctor :   to rule out any problems associated with heart
User :   but it doesnot hurt
Doctor :   also i recommend you to discuss these symptoms with your physician
Doctor :   and get examined and investigated thoroughly
User :   its just unconfortable and not normal, my other leg feels fine
Doctor :   such that the exact cause of your problems can be found
Doctor :   and treatment started appropriately
Doctor :   get your blood pressure measures too
Doctor :   especially while you have such symptoms
Doctor :   it would probably be raised, and if it is found raised
Doctor :   you will need to be put on antihypertensives
User :   yes i will see a doctor, i just dont know where to find a good one in NY... i just moved here
Doctor :   which will resolve the chest symptoms too
Doctor :   have you followed what I have said?
User :   yes yes
