User :   every morning i go for a jog

User :   they are soft and canvas made
Doctor :   and how long do you jog ? And do u jog regularly throughout the week or occasionally ?
Doctor :   Also, do u go jogging on the hard surfaced roads with the canvas shoes ?
User :   upto 1.5 -2kms
User :   arnd 4-5 days a week

User :   its right above the knee cap

User :   it isnt so severe
User :   but it affects sometimes when i got to play

User :   no nothing like tht
User :   its like pinching with a needle

Doctor :   from your history, i feel that ur issues are due to using wrong shoes for the wrong thing
Doctor :   Please use a good sports shoe as in of Rebocc or adidas, which have a good cushioning for the feet

Doctor :   canvas shoes are ok, if u are walking
Doctor :   but for jogging, u need better shoes which support the feet

Doctor :   since the knees carry the weight of the body, the cartilage may get damaged, by lack of cushions and support
Doctor :   for the time being, you are still young and conditions like arthritis, do not fit you

Doctor :   apply heat pads, and take some OTC pain killers like brufen 400 mg as and when needed
Doctor :   not more than 2 a day

Doctor :   also use a knee guard , while jogging , as they will give u a support
User :   ok
Doctor :   if the pain persists and is not tolerable, then u can get an Xray just to make sure, that everything is ok
User :   ok
Doctor :   But in most cases , rest and proper posture & proper ergonomic shoes will do the trick
