User :   hi, i just got my blood test done for pain in heel( retro calcaneal spur), my Eosinophils count is 13.3. I dont seem to be having any other problem. I have a tendency to catch cold however i have reduced it to just about once or twice a year by practicing yoga and breathing excercise. The night before the blood test i had Rablet(acidity), Mocrocid( pain killer) as provided by my ortho. May i know what could be the cause of such high eosinophils

User :   i also thought same
User :   but do u think, medicines or pain killers have a role in it ?
Doctor :   That is once you are off the medication.
Doctor :   Yes. medication also causes increase in eosinophil.
User :   like i said, i am off medication, my dr gave me only preventive medicines till he got the reports. after reports he said no need for those medicines unless i hv pain, but i dont hv pain if i dont run
