User :   becoz i have a problem related to my menses

User :   ok..actually my menses was due on aug 25th but i got it after 2.5 days and on 25th
User :   aug i got a brown discharge
User :   instead of menses
User :   is that ok?

User :   yep
User :   iam married
Doctor :   ok. are on any birth control methods?
User :   no
Doctor :   ok. were you having regular periods before this?
User :   u mean iam getting menses evry month or not?
User :   yes iam getting it every month but for the past 2 months
Doctor :   do you have any other symptoms associated like nausea, sore and tender breasts, increased tiredness, sleepiness, mood changes, increased frequency of urination?
User :   iam getting it once in 28 days
User :   i feel exhausted sometimes
User :   but no other symptoms
User :   like nausea
User :   frequent urination
User :   for the past 3 months
User :   iam under tremedous stress
Doctor :   ok. then i would recommend you to go ahead with pregnancy tests
Doctor :   as teh spotting that you had could suggest implantation bleed
User :   but i got my regular menses in 48 hrs
User :   after i got the brown thing
User :   i got menses for 2 days
Doctor :   ok. was teh bleding similar to your usual periods?
User :   yes similar to regular periods
Doctor :   or was it less? did it accompany your usual menstrual symptoms?
User :   it was lil lesser maybe because i had menses for only 2 days..usually i get for 3 days..
User :   but the 2 days the menses was norrmal
User :   yes had a mild cramps on the first day of menses
User :   and seccond day was normal
Doctor :   ok. then do not worry about the spotting that you had if you had your usual periods after that
Doctor :   if you develop any symptoms suggesting pregnancy or get abnormal periods next time
Doctor :   then go ahead with a blood beta HCG test to confirm/rule out pregnancy
Doctor :   if not found to be pregnant, then any other hormonal cause should be ruled out
