User :   im not sure if i just had something happen with my heart. i felt what could only be described as a near spasm in my left bicep, but might have been deeper (heart?). this is accompanied by a "rushing feeling". this could be anxiety though. so i lay down and chill, and the spasming feeling goes away. but there might be the smallest hint of a tingling sensation in my left arm. but this time, after it happened and went away, it feels like i have a lump in my throat...but its not my throat. thats the only way i can explain it. my pulse seems normal, but thats just with a finger check, and done by me...and im no professional. im definitely not having a panic attack as i am very calm and collected at the moment.
Doctor :   Hi
User :   hi
Doctor :
Let me read
User :   k
User :   for the record, my emergency number is wrong that i entered.
Doctor :
Doctor :
may i know your age and gender?
User :   26 male
User :   about 230lbs
User :   not healthy
Doctor :   from when you have noticed these problems
User :   this one happened about 20 minutes ago
User :   but ive had a few before. always when im at the computer
Doctor :   ok
User :   i think it may possibly be a repetitive motion injury. i do have palpitations from time to time though. this has been diagnosed by a doctor before. they are few and far between and was thought to have been only minor
Doctor :
when do you get palpitations ?
User :   randomly. and only like one at a time. sometimes they almost take my breath away, but they never come in runs
Doctor :
Doctor :
have you got the EKG and echo done?
User :   i know that nerve damage in that area can cause a lot of the same symptoms im feeling, thats why i think it might be that. but it would be a great mistake to assume that and have it be my heart
User :   no echo, but i had an EKG done about two months ago
User :   and it came back fine
Doctor :   nerve damage were?
User :   from playing video games WAY too much, in my upper left arm. i have had pains there and in my left bicep for nearly 3 years, off and on
User :   over the past month it has gotten much worse than it has ever been though
Doctor :   i believe you are assuming things by reading things online
User :   well, kind of connecting them myself. i dont self diagnose online.
Doctor :
but you are interpreting things in a wrong way
User :   thats what im wondering
Doctor :
you are normal
User :   thats why im here
Doctor :
and your wrong interpretation is making you feel anxious
Doctor :   it is just a simple muscle strain and it need not be related with nerve or heart problems
User :   also, i have been having bad heartburn for the last few months. i dont know if that means anything.
User :   but the strain can cause pains that feel really deep in my chest? i mean, palpitations dont accompany those pains...thats been my saving grace
Doctor :
yes if you get anxious than there is hyper acid secretion which will cause heart burn and bad breath
Doctor :   yes
User :   what course of action do you recommend?
Doctor :
first and foremost stop negative thinking and wrong interpretation as it will increase your problem
User :   and what are the possible repercussions of leaving a muscle strain untreated for the 3 possible years i believe ive had it
Doctor :   muscle strain will recover if given adequate rest
User :   i work full time and have to be at a computer a lot of the time, else im doing heavy lifting. what steps could i take to hurry that along? physical therapy or medication or both or home therapy?
Doctor :   medication and physical therapy both is required
Doctor :
medications ibuprofen is sufficient
Doctor :
which is an otc
Doctor :
and adequate rest is very important
User :   ok
User :   how much time do i have left?
User :   2 min
User :   i see
Doctor :
physio to the affected part need a professional help and for that you need to visit a physiotherapist
User :   a doctor told me once that i had an enlarged left breast too
User :   i didnt know if that was connected
User :   its over the bicep that hurts
Doctor :   it is not connected with the present problem
User :   ok
