Can you give me delivery date based on values in my report? - Online Doctor Chats
How can I help you?
I'm in my 9th month of pregnancy
9th month started on 12th Feb
yesterday I'd done with the obs scan
if I tell you the values in the report, can you pls tell me how much days can I expect to go for my delivery
The expected date of delivery is a rough date given based on some fetal parameters.
yes...that is the 19th March in my case
They are not accurate in the final trimester.
Your first trimester dates are more significant in knowing the expected date.
in my report, due date is not given but the weight and other parameters are given
Do you mean your final report done recently did not contain the expected date?
that doesn't contain
there are like B.P.D, H.C, A.C etc
and weight of baby
reading these values, can you tell me the rough idea of expected days remaining
These are the anthropometric measurements of the growing fetus.
May I know the expected date specified in the first trimester scan.
that was 26th March
Let me clarify your doubts now.
Expected date of delivery is calculated based on number of parameters.
the accuracy of the date is more significant during the first trimester.
I mean the values in your final semester report is not very useful to calculate the Expected date.
And hence the final report did not contain the expected dates.
So in simple terms, the rough date of 26th march, which was specified on your first scan holds good.
ok...but whatever is the EDD, that is the maximum date upto which my delivery can happen
but now in 9th month, on any day, delivery can go
26th march is the rough date for your delivery to happen.
It doesn't mean it would occur exactly on that day.
It is normal to have delivery 4 weeks before or after this date.
The latest technologies available in medical science cannot give you the exact dates.
yes...exactly, I'm asking for the rough idea of the actual day of delivery, means now it can happen in 1 week or 10 days or 15 days ...??
The EDD will be 26th march plus minus 4 weeks.
If delivery doesn't happen after 4 weeks past 26th march, then you need to go ahead with induced labor.
Have you followed what I have suggested?
Do you have any other query?
Thanks for the query.
Bye for now.
