User:Hi Doctor I have started my 39 weeks and my doctor has asked me to come on Thursday as she would induce pain for me.
Doctor:all right
Doctor:please go ahead with you
User:The reason she says is the growth of the baby is lagging behind. At 38 weeks the weight is 2,379 +/-237.
User:I am worried if the baby can sustain the induced pain.
Doctor:of course, baby can sustain the induced pain
Doctor:Go ahead with the induction
Doctor:The weight seems just a little less than expected
Doctor:but not abnormal
Doctor:wish you good luck
User:What should I do to make the induction process easier?
User:Should I do some exercise?
Doctor:You need to walk around
Doctor:no need to do exercise
Doctor:just walk as much as you can
Doctor:Take plenty of fruits and fruit juices
Doctor:And rest in between as well
User:I am already having pain around my hip/back.
Doctor:induction would be easier then
Doctor:Yes, I understand
Doctor:they would increase in intensity when induced
User:making me difficult to carry myself.
User:I am weighing more as well.
User:Can you just give me tips to face that day?
Doctor:is this your first pregnancy?
Doctor:You need to remain calm and peaceful
Doctor:You can listen to music or read your favorite book throughout
User:And I also would like to have normal delivery. What are the chances?
Doctor:Chances can be predicted only at labour
Doctor:not before that
Doctor:If you have had a normal delivery before, there are more chances of having normal delivery now
Doctor:since this is your first pregnancy we cannot predict that
Doctor:You can meditate, do deep breathing exercises to calm yourself
Doctor:have your own people around you so that you can talk to them and you feel the comfort
User:ok.Does taking hot water on the back help induce pain?
Doctor:You must not panic, whatever may happen
Doctor:Not really
Doctor:in fact, it helps in relieving back pain
Doctor:all right
User:How much time does it take for delivery in induced pain?
Doctor:wish you good luck
Doctor:whole process should be complete within 24 hrs
User:ok. Thank you so much doctor.
Doctor:my pleasure
