User :   Last Monday on April 6th I was bitten in my thigh area by a dog. It was a puncture wound that left me with a 6 inch bruise in the area. I had difficulty walking for several days but the bruise started to go away, but then I noticed yesterday that in the area where the dog bite me underneath the skin I have a bump or knot that is tender to touch with no bruising in that area. Also the puncture wound is reddened just around the outside and the site itches. I have been putting antibiotic ointment on the wound ever since it happened and have been cleaning it once a day with soap and water. What is the bump under my skin mean? Do I have an infection? And what should I do?
Doctor :   hi
Doctor :   how can I help you?
