User :   Hi, i have bronchitis and was given antibiotics yesterday, but feel heaps worse today, is this normal?

Doctor :   may i know how long have you had the symptoms of bronchitis ?
User :   a dry cough started about 3 days ago but it atrted getting bad about 2 days ago
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   so what other symptoms have you developed now ?
User :   bocked nose, sore throat, headache, fever, fatigue and feeling quite sick
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   it seems that your infection is running its natural course
User :   how long should it last for?
Doctor :   you are having sinusitis and pharyngitis
Doctor :   since the antibiotics have already been begun, it will not last more than a week
Doctor :   until then, you can take advil 400 mg 2 times a day to reduce the inflammation
Doctor :   OR SUDAFED cold tabs twice daily
User :   i am on omoxcillin 500mg, one three times a day
User :   is that the right dosage? and can i take the painkillers with it?
Doctor :   that is ok, thats an antibiotic and is a right dosage
Doctor :   yes you can take it together
Doctor :   no issues with it
Doctor :   in addition, take otrivine nasal drops to reduce the congestion and nasal blocks
Doctor :   salt water gargling 3-4 times a day will help to sooth the throat
Doctor :   if you have any cough, try TUSSIN DM
Doctor :   This will help
User :   ok, do you think this should speed it up?
User :   I am in canada and my parents are coming to visit for two weeks tonight and i dont want to be like this the whole time :S
Doctor :   yes the medications i mentioned will speeden recovery
User :   should i be taking vitamins aswell?
Doctor :   yes they will help too
Doctor :   vitamin C specifically
User :   also, the doc gave me a prescription for dimetapp-c syrup, but prescriptions cost alot and i couldnt afford it at the time, would this help a lot?
User :   he also said i should be taking my ventolin inhalor 4 times a day

Doctor :   yes ventorlin , is needed
Doctor :   but other OTC medications i mentioned will do the trick
