ok
User :   wat do u think the problem is
Doctor :   when did she go for washout?
User :   last yr october
Doctor :
ok
Doctor :
knee replacement surgery is a major operation
Doctor :
some times blood get collected in the joint which will present as swelling
User :   the thing is she has intense pain when moving around...and we have noticed the swelling on her knee
Doctor :
and some times as u told pus will be accumulated due to infection
Doctor :   have u taken an xray of knee recently?
User :   not yet
Doctor :
i feel its better to take an xray first to rule out haemarthrosis
User :   what is haemarthrosis

User :   ok
User :   how can it be cleared
Doctor :   it can be cleared
Doctor :
nothing to worry
User :   ok
User :   how
Doctor :
first we should find out the source of bleeding
User :   ok
User :   will that show up in the xray
Doctor :
Synovectomy (removal of joint lining), meniscectomy and osteotomy have been used with success when treating hemarthrosi
Doctor :   are the methods of treating haemarthrosis
Doctor :
but in xray we can know if there is any collection of fluid in the joint
User :   ok
User :   is it a serious problem
User :   would she need 2 have another operation
Doctor :
yes if it is confirmed as haemarthrosis
User :   ok
User :   would it b a major op

no it is a minor operation
User :   ok
User :   many thanks
