Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :
How can I help you?
User :   hello
Doctor :
Hi
Doctor :
I am here please proceed
User :   i just want to know if someone was to incur a seizure, and if
User :   brain damage was incurred, would that brain damaged become healed or is it a possibillity with a prescription of a particular drug.?
Doctor :   Do you want to know whether there is a chance of seizure after brain damage ?
Doctor :
If so can it be healed with some medicine?
Doctor :
Is it that you wanted to know?
Doctor :
Are you with me?
User :   no. basically, lets say goes through a seizure, and then as a result of the seizure he gets brain damage, now can the damage that has happened to the brain be healed ?
Doctor :
Ok so you are asking about the post seizure brain damage
User :   yesss.
Doctor :
Look first one should know what is the reason for seizure
Doctor :
The seizure is a result of the abnormal electrical activity
Doctor :
because of some damage in the brain
User :   ooo...
Doctor :
So if the seizure happens one should treat the seizure first and the cause of it
Doctor :
The seizure can lead also lead to more damage of brain
Doctor :
hence the medicines are put to control the seizures
User :   ok
User :   ...
Doctor :
which will reduce the further damage
Doctor :
that can occur to the brain
Doctor :
These drugs are called Antiepileptic drugs
Doctor :
which are to be taken for long time
User :   o.k
Doctor :
The drugs are not be stopped abruptly
Doctor :
unless the doctor asks to stop
Doctor :
Usually the duration of the medicine are for 5 years seizure free
User :   o.k.....
Doctor :   Did you understand what I said?

User :   yes.
Doctor :
Now do you have some questions?
User :   but can the human body on its own, regenerate the parts of the brain that have been affected by the post seizure brain damage
Doctor :
Yes the healing power is still there for the brain
Doctor :
Unfortunately the healed regions are sometimes the triggers for the abnormal electrical activity
Doctor :
and thus leading to seizures
User :   thats strange, never mind, can the healing be speeded up with a good diet or medicine,
User :   expensie or cheap medicine...
User :   expensive***
Doctor :
Yes ofcourse
User :   like.. a diet containing.... or medicine like...
Doctor :
It is a complicated thing as only an expert in Epilepsy can treat basing on the experience he has
Doctor :   THere are newer medicines which can enhance the brain activity

User :   and so therefore enhanced brain activity, is a means of healing the brain?
Doctor :
The medicines claim to say that they can enhance the healing but studies are still on
User :   so things like mathematic exercises in textbooks and puzzles are all a possible aid fro the healing of the brain and also eating food like tuna, salmon is all good for the brain
Doctor :
They can aid in possible brain enhancement activity
Doctor :   Brain is still a slow decaying organ even in normal adult

Doctor :
It cannot be regenerated
Doctor :
But studies with stem cells
Doctor :
are favoring that
User :   .......
Doctor :
Did you follow?
User :   yes ...so the post seizure brain damage will be healed but the naturally occurring degeneration of the brain cannot occur except with stem cells and that is a posibillity?
User :   ??
Doctor :
Yes but the stem cell regeneration is still a long way road ahead
User :   o.k
User :   one last question....
Doctor :
If that is done we can find cure to many diseases
Doctor :
liek Parkisnons
Doctor :
Alzheimers
Doctor :
etc
User :   okay
Doctor :
Please proceed
User :   i have this priblem
User :   problem*
User :   at times i cant move at all apart froma few muscles and other times a can move a little..
Doctor :
ok
User :   but i walk with the upper body hanging about downwards as if i am doing an exaggerated bow
User :   and at other times
User :   i fell like
User :   i feel like*
User :   and i CAN move properly
Doctor :
ok
User :   by the way i earlier said " and at tiems i can move a little"
User :   "and at times i can move a little"****
Doctor :
may I know what is it diagnosed by the doctor
User :   one said that you should exercise more and do atleast walking because you stay at home for too long , your not active enough, especially since your seventeen ( i'm now 18 birthday was yesterday)
User :   .
Doctor :
Belated wishes on your birthday
Doctor :
Yeah exercise should be part of your daily routine
Doctor :
atleast for few minutes
User :   an also some extra information would be that it feels like this: i make an intention to move but no electrical singal is sent to my muscles to make them contract.
User :   thank you.
User :   i do i walk on average for half an hour a day.
Doctor :   That is good

Doctor :
DId you see the doctor for this problem?
User :   also i can move only when i try to do something for which i have desire , like playing a video game etc..
User :   yeah.
Doctor :
What was his opinion?
Doctor :
What was his diagnosis
User :   what i told you before about me needing exercise was a doctors' opinion
Doctor :
Ok since when are you following with hime and the exercise
Doctor :
Did you notice any change?
User :   since the end of september
User :   nope.
Doctor :   Otherwise how is your general health
Doctor :
Your sleep, appetite and stools?
User :   my general health is good, i dont smoke, never had any drugs, i try hard to eat healthy , but i aim to sleep 5 and a half hours a day and quite a lot of times i end up sleeping 7 hours a day
User :   .
Doctor :
In fact you need 7 hours of sleep a day and you are sleeping good by means
User :   my setools are normal, but it seems i go for stools more often than normal,
User :   like yesterday i went about 3 times
User :   but the stool is solid but that may due to my metabolism
Doctor :   As long as you have soft stools and regular movement this is fine

Doctor :
Do you ever had a seizure attack?
User :   meaning.....my frequent stooling may be a result of my metabolism...
Doctor :
i think you are fine altogether
Doctor :
You have to just follow your doctor's advice and follow up with him
Doctor :
as necessary
User :   no but i think nearly had one or it most likely was a stroke about 3 years ago when i was in the shower and the amount of air was very little too.
User :   .
User :   also once recently i was reading a book that seemed to be extremely interesting and i felt like i had to read it before something overtook and so i think my brain activity increased and therefore i felt dizzy and m sight was becoming daker
User :   .
User :   overtook me*
User :   ..m sight was becoming darker
User :   my sight.*
Doctor :
Did you check with the Neurologist about this
User :   nope
User :   should i?
Doctor :
Yes
Doctor :
If you obviously see a difference in the sight
Doctor :
You have to check with the Doctor
User :   only at the time of the experience not anymore.
Doctor :
I think it is a simple XXXXXXXX
Doctor :
that had taken place
User :   o.k
Doctor :
