User :   ok, sure,well ihave been having irregular periods basically all my life and i had the first one in 7 years this month
User :   it lasted ten days and was very heavy

User :   me and my husband r trying to concieve, and just this morning ,ten days after my cycle i had a surge of red blood that quickly turned brown,could i be preggo?
Doctor :   Before I can answer this question, may I know if any cause was found for the absence of periods for the last 7 years.
Doctor :   I mean have you been evaluated for the reason why you have not been getting the periods?
User :   my period was the 7th _17th, i am a lil overweight that all they have said about them no posc or hormonal imbalance, but i have recently lost 17 pounds
Doctor :   Do you have any other medical illness such as diabetes, thyroid dysfunction?

User :   borderline diabetic and prehypertention that is controlled

Doctor :   Do you have any other symptoms such as increased urination, back ache, breast enlargement, breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting?
User :   i have had a slight backache,yes

User :   but would i be having any other symptoms this soon, ?
Doctor :   Let me explain to you.
Doctor :   Since your last period before your current period was years ago,
Doctor :   it is hard to determine when your day of ovulation was.
Doctor :   Hence I cannot comment how soon can you have the symptoms of pregnancy.
User :   ok, but it could happen tho right?
Doctor :   Since you deny the other symptoms of pregnancy,
Doctor :   it is most likely that the bleeding that you had now,
Doctor :   are just a menstrual period bleed.
Doctor :   The chance that you could be pregnant is sparce.
User :   ok, thx so much
Doctor :   I would suggest you to get the pregnancy test
Doctor :   for confirmation.
