User :   sorry
Doctor :   How old are You?
Doctor :   Do you have any medical problems ?
Doctor :   what is your occupation?
User :   23 and not that I know of, I'm unemployed right now
Doctor :   oK
Doctor :   Do u have any pain in the eye?
Doctor :   Do you have any eye sight? Do u wear glasses?
User :   not really pain i would say more like strain sometimes, and yes i have eyesight and yes i wear glasses
Doctor :   OK
User :   I went to an opthamologist yesterday and he did a series of tests and said my eyes were perfect
Doctor :   In myopia the the yes ball are very strectched
Doctor :   Myopia patients are prone to develop Glaucoma
Doctor :   In Glaucoma there is high pressure inside the eye ball
Doctor :   So any blurry vision, with strain need to be examined by eye specialist
Doctor :   It is like measuring Blood pressure
User :   the opthamologist said my eyes were 100% healthy though
Doctor :   WHen was your last visit to the eye specialist
User :   yesterday
Doctor :   So the complete examination of eye was normal\
Doctor :   and u still have blurry visuion
User :   thats correct
Doctor :   So the eye problems are rules out
Doctor :   So the eye problems are rules out
User :   I spend alot of time infront of computer and a high definition tv could this be a cause
Doctor :   So we need to think of any other causes
Doctor :   There u go
Doctor :   You got the answer for you
User :   I've been easing myself away from all this for past couple days but havent seen much improvement
Doctor :   Becuase there are no eye problems I dont think any systemic disease will causae blurry vision
User :   when im watching tv (its a 32 inch) i sit very close to it too
Doctor :   Ok
User :   it bothers me because its just my left eye and its noticeable and the eye just feels weird
Doctor :   You should maintain 15v feet distance from TV while watching
Doctor :   You should give break every 30 -45 min while watching
Doctor :   You should give rest to eye as much as possible
Doctor :   There are alternative ways of fun
Doctor :   read books
Doctor :   lsiten music
User :   yea I've been avoiding tv for 3 days now and minimal computer use except to research something quick, i also own an iphone which im on constantly
Doctor :   Ok
User :   it just worries me that its only my left eye
Doctor :   There are systemic reasons, like multiple sclerosis , but u have eye examination done and it is normal
Doctor :   I will assure u with eye rest and few eye ball exercises ur symptoms will get better
Doctor :   cusing the eyes on a fixed object for prolonged periods causes the eyes to strain with close viewing being worse than distant viewing. Working in poor lighting also causes the eyes to become more strained.
User :   its weird but i had a similiar symptom last year too then it went away exaclty the same time of year
Doctor :   *Focussing
Doctor :   It is the same trigger which is causing blurry vision
Doctor :   but U had eye examination done'
Doctor :   The direct glare of bright ceiling lights or a sunny window shining into your eyes makes it difficult to see
User :   yea thats the weird part i had eye exam and i passed it well but i still cant focus good on that left eye
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   moisturizing them with a variety of over-the-counter eye-drops or artificial tears.
User :   ever since i was born my left eye has been a lazy eye
Doctor :   But usually the lazy eyes get better with age
Doctor :   Now you need to realise what is the problem instead of going toi past
Doctor :   Practice eye exercises such as blinking or rolling your eyes - blinking moistens the eyes and relieves tight eye muscles
Doctor :   Take regular breaks to relax eye muscle - occasionally look away from the monitor and focus on a distant object for a few seconds to give your eyes a rest.
Doctor :   Turn up the contrast on your computer screen to minimize eye strain
Doctor :   omputer monitors and television screens should be positioned at eye level so that you can look down towards it
Doctor :   When reading, hold your book at least 30 to 40 cm away from your eyes
Doctor :   Wear sunglasses when driving or outdoors because the ultraviolet rays of the sun can cause you to squint
Doctor :   While watching television, the lighting of the room should be about 50% dimmer than the screen
Doctor :   ****Avoid watching television at an angle or in darkness******
User :   oh ok it still worries me, past 2-3weeks ago i had alot of vertigo and headaches i was told it was left ear labyrinthiitis, and sinus trouble, i was on medication and everything seem to go away tho sometimes i do get some headaches
Doctor :   these are all good tips
Doctor :   vertigo headaches came from inner ear infections
Doctor :   they r usually viral
Doctor :   they get resolved
User :   I'm just wondering if there was any correlation
Doctor :   No
Doctor :   They are different
User :   last night i bought cleareye complete 7 symptom reliever
Doctor :   DO u have any other questions?
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   how did work?
User :   it seems when i put the drops it burns my left eye alot more than right
Doctor :   Is it lubricant
Doctor :   is it herbal
User :   astringent/lubricant
Doctor :   astringen
should not be used
Doctor :   Moisturizer eye artificial eye drops are good
Doctor :   Moisturizer eye-use artificial eye drops
Doctor :   So with the eye rest, artificial eye drops,u will be alright
User :   so you think my left eye is strained?
