how can i help you
User :   my 4 year old just went poop and i noticed that it was tinted with blood

User :   i thought he actually might of just torn himself and the blood was on the outside of the stool

User :   when i cut open his stool it was filled with mucus and bright red blood

User :   he has had really big poops in the past and has torn but never to this extent
User :   he did have surgery over two weeks ago, and was very constipated for about a 2 weeks

User :   his doctor did put him on a laxative, so finally we have been doing every other day

was he fed with some hard food
User :   yes now he was on soft food
User :   it was done july 30th

User :   i just didnt know if this was an E.R visit. Actually his poop is always bad smelling

User :   so not out of the ordinary smelling, I just couldnt believe the amount of blood
