Doctor :   Let me explain to you.
User :   ok
Doctor :   There are 2 most common conditions that are responsible for blood in motions along with pain.
Doctor :   They are as follows
Doctor :   1. Fissure in ani
Doctor :   2. Hemorrhoids.
Doctor :   Based on your history, the first is the likely possible cause for your symptoms.
Doctor :   Fissure occurs due to changes in bowel habits,
Doctor :   since you do not report of constipation, I probably think your change in diet -eating chapathi more could have triggered this.
User :   yea.. was having only chapathis and bread stuffzz..
User :   is it a serious issue?
Doctor :   Refined cereals such as refined breads or chapathi prepared from refined flour have very less fibres in them and could be the factor for causing your symptoms here.
User :   oh.. ok
Doctor :   As far as severity is concerned, fissures most often heal in a few days, if the causative factor is removed.
Doctor :   In your case, it is use of the refined products.
Doctor :   Hence you need to change your dietary habits.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Use fibre rich products such as plenty of vegetables and fruits in your diet.
Doctor :   Avoid using refined flour for chapathis, instead whole grain flour is preferred.
Doctor :   Continue taking plenty of water.
Doctor :   Along with this, let me suggest you few measures to help the pain.
User :   any medicine need to be taken?
User :   ok
Doctor :   1. Use warm water sit baths.
Doctor :   You may have to do them twice or thrice a day for a few days, untill the pain reduces.
Doctor :   Bleeding will stop as the pain comes down.
Doctor :   2. You can use laxative syrups such as syp lactulose 2 tsp at night for a week.
User :   i only have pain while passing stools..
Doctor :   If the pain is not constant, you can continue sit baths for 2 days.
User :   ok
Doctor :   If the symptoms persists, you can continue using sit baths for a few more days till you feel better.
Doctor :   3. You can use local applicants such as smooth cream.
Doctor :   This local cream can be applied to the anal region before you wish to pass stool,
User :   ok
Doctor :   they will help you in reducing the pain and improve your symptoms.
Doctor :   You should be fine in a day or two.
Doctor :   If symptoms increase or persists for more than a week, consult a doctor for physical examination.
Doctor :   Have you followed what I have suggested?
Doctor :   Do you have any other query?
User :   what can be done to soften the stool?
