Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   How can i help you
User :   Hi
User :   Can a bladder infection affect my period at all?
Doctor :   Yes they can be altered and there can be significant changes
User :   So if I am spotting during a bladder infection, does the mean that the infection is just affecting my period or does it mean that I could possibly be pregnant?
Doctor :   Spotting can have many causes and it will need to be ruled out one by one and per say there can be no correlation between spotting and pelvic infection
Doctor :   Are you there XXXXXXXX ?
User :   Ok, so if I am supposed to be starting my period this week and there is spotting should I just wait to see if I fully start my period before I start freaking out about being pregnant?
Doctor :   You need to wait and if your are really bothered get the Urine pregnancy kit and test it for your self before freaking out
User :   Because what I did was I skipped my sugar pills and started taking my regular pills so that I wasn't on my period last week. And now I am not taking the pill this week to so that I can have my period and am not having sex at all. So could that be the problem as well?
Doctor :   No skipping the medications can really hamper the hormonal balance and cause this kind of varied picture and can be confusing too best would be to get the Urine pregnancy tested and based on that take the next step forward
User :   Alright, thank you for your help.
Doctor :   Please fill this feed back form and tell me when done
