User :   Hi, Last night I had a couple of social drinks and I vomited several times... This morning I noticed a black spot under my tongue (Warton's ducts) and it's also a bit swollen. Do you know what this "black spot" under the tongue could be?
I don't smoke. I only drink occasionally.
Doctor :   Hi
User :   hi
Doctor :   Do you think you vomited something which is black
User :   still there?
User :   no
Doctor :   I mean digested blood
User :   no, everything was clear
Doctor :   I do not think both are related
Doctor :   Now let me come to the black spot under the tongue
Doctor :   Do you think you have noticed it suddenly today?
User :   yeah, I really never check under my tongue. But I don't remember noticing this spot before
Doctor :   Do you have pain while munching on food?
User :   no pain
Doctor :   How large is the spot?
User :   probably about a quarter on an inch or less
User :   it's like a spot and a bit spreading
Doctor :   I am not able to relate it to anything which is worrisome as the history is very short
Doctor :   Probably observing this might be the next thing to go ahead
Doctor :   Usually we ask for smoking as the most important which is ruled out
User :   yeah I don't smoke, I only drink socially maybe twice a month
Doctor :   Any dental problem is the next important, do you have any?
User :   no, just had braces taken out 2 years ago. Went to the dentist in June
Doctor :   No dental amalgams like silver fillings
User :   I used to have those done a long time ago. Not anymore, those were replaced with white fillings
Doctor :   Ok, I suggest to observe the spot
Doctor :   The next thing is oral meloanoma which is very rare and rare place to have, hence observe it for sometime
Doctor :   No need to press the panic button
Doctor :   If it bleeds or increases in size, please see a dentist
Doctor :   Did you follow?
User :   yes
Doctor :   Do you have any more questions?
