User :   I am 30yrs old female and have problem with my skin

User :   i have a fair complexion, but the skin around my chin has turned black
Doctor :   Since how long are you having this problem?
User :   it started with black mark below the lower lip about 4-5 yrs back but that was not very clearly visible
Doctor :   Is there any other problems associated with this?
User :   but it has increased over last 1 yr
Doctor :   Does it have pain, itching or burning?
User :   it started with dry and scaly skin..after which skin turned red
User :   and now it is blac

User :   right no itching..
User :   i mean right now no itching
Doctor :   It can be due to various reasons as hyperpigmentation, allergy, infection
User :   i had consulted a dermatologist at XXXXXXXX skin clinic and they had advised me to apply desowen lotion

User :   which i am currently using..but for sometime the skin will be red and then during the day it is turning blackish
User :   the skin in this area is very dry
Doctor :   1)Apply Aloe vera lotion on it three times a day and leave it then apply ice after an hour and then wash it off.
Doctor :   2)Apply a paste of fresh ground mint leaves and leave it for about 20 minutes. Wash with cold water, continue for 15 days.
Doctor :   3)Avoid excessive consumption of heavy and oily foods
Doctor :   4)Drink at least 4-5 liters of water every day.
Doctor :   5)Take Evion capsules daily for few days.
Doctor :   If all these things do not help you you need to get it examined and also require some investigations.
User :   and breast feeding a six month old baby, is it ok to take these capsules

User :   which brand aloe vera lotion can i use
User :   and can i continue with the desowen lotion and or should i discontinue

Doctor :   You can use it but if its worsening then discontinue the use.

User :   actually i am taking thyronorm 50mcg tablets for last 1.5 yrs

User :   can i take evion tablets at bedtime 1 everyday
