User :   User :   I am actually suffering from back pain for a long time
User :   I used to do some excercises
User :   but couldn't do regularly
User :   Due to this I think, sometimes it got aggravated

User :   not in recent past
User :   Actually it got controlled when I do some excercise

User :   Yes but not for this pain
User :   Right now I am talking about lower back paim

User :   while some 4 years back i went through physiotherapy for upper back pain
Doctor :   Your back pain is coming for your occupational reason.
User :   that is neck and shoulders

Doctor :   Prolonged sitting in chair before computer put stress on back
Doctor :   As you said there are shoulder and wrirst problem from use of PCs

Doctor :   There are different reasons for back pain . The treatment depends on identifying the cause of pain. You have strain of back muscles and ligaments
Doctor :   I give some tips those will help you to prevent and to relive the pain.
User :   Also I used to travel 15-16 km one side on bike

Doctor :   As you said, you were feeling better with exercises, that is the best way to strengthen your back muscles

Doctor :   You can even consult Physical therapist initially for few sessions to learn the kind of exercises they teach for back pain

Doctor :   Regarding other tips: Doctor :   Posture is very important to prevent strain on spine and its muscles

Doctor :   Sit smart. Choose a seat with good lower back support, arm rests and a swivel base. Consider placing a pillow or rolled towel in the small of your back to maintain its normal curve. Keep your knees and hips level.

Doctor :   Lift smart. Let your legs do the work. Move straight up and down. Keep your back straight and bend only at the knees. Hold the load close to your body. Avoid lifting and twisting simultaneously. Find a lifting partner if the object is heavy or awkward.
