Back pain due to incorrect sleeping posture. Need remedy - Online Doctor Chats

User:After 3 yrs of back pain, few days back I got no know that my back pain was due to incorrect sleeping posture.

I has a habit of sleeping on a stomach with on sided leg bringing it belly level. I think that was the only root cause for my back pain.

Request to advise a remedy to correct my sleep posture. currently my pain has decreased but not completely disappeared.

Please advice.

Doctor:Sleep posture is one of the cause of back pain, but I would not relate this alone to be the cause of back pain.
Doctor:Any way; the best position to sleep is a position which you are comfortable. However at times of pain it is better to sleep on a flat surface on your back.
Doctor:Use not more than one pillow to your head.
Doctor:The mattress should not be too soft or too hard. A firm surface will benefit you.
