User:Hello Doctor
User:I have a concern
User:My baby girl who is 8 months old fell down from 2 feet cot today morning
User:her left forehead got swollen and was in light green color
User:We immediately treated it with cloth dipped in hot water, later the swelling and green color reduced.
User:Bur Now in the evening when we put her in walker she is not able to stand on her left leg properly and finding difficulty to walk
User:I am really scared.. please advise
Doctor:It seems that she also got hurt on her leg
User:earlier she was walking straight and now she is putting her left leg cross way
User:is there anything serious that we need to take her to hospital? please advise
Doctor:Since the floors are cemented, the injury can be a little bad
Doctor:most such injuries usually get better on their own
Doctor:But if the hurt is bad you may take her to a hospital for an examination by orthopedic surgeon
Doctor:Is she not keeping the leg straight at all?
User:she is trying to keep straight but finding difficulty
Doctor:an x-ray will help rule out something serious
Doctor:Is she crying ?
User:regarding the left forehead which was swollen in the morning.. should we worry on that?
User:no she is active since morning and playing actively
User:she cried for few minutes thats all
Doctor:If she is active then the hurt must not be bad
Doctor:You can watch till morning
Doctor:If the leg does not improve, take her in the morning
Doctor:The reason is that most hurts get better overnight
Doctor:Due to sleep muscles relax
Doctor:It is also important to prevent falls
Doctor:Sometimes falls can produce serious damage
Doctor:It is better if she sleeps in a crib
User:ok Now there s no swelling over forehead... Should we take her to doctor for any check up?
Doctor:Well if the swelling is gone then we can worry less for now
