User:My mother is 47year old n from past 1 month she is facing knee pain which makes her to feel very low n she is not able to walk
User:and she is a BP patient
Doctor:Is the pain in both knees?
User:No only left knee
Doctor:Okay, is there any swelling that you have noticed in the knee?
User:and she recently visted XXXXXXX hospital I don't remember tablets name
Doctor:Okay, when is the pain more? morning or evening?
User:doctor advised her not to sit in floor as well they told some exercise since she is overweight
Doctor:Okay, with those tablets, is she feeling any better?
User:all the time but one day she will be Ok the next day she cant work also

User:I dint see any change after having those tablets
User:weight am not sure may be 87 or 90 height 5.4

Doctor:But in such a case of I would like to know the reason for this constant pain

Doctor:but we need to find out the reason for the pain, once we do that, we can treat her with specific medicines which will be much more usefull
User:even she don't know all of sudden she got the pain
User:and she is suffering from severe knee pain
Doctor:So I suggest, you get an X-ray done
User:Ok Doctor. After that how can I get back to you
Doctor:and some blood tests like, RA factor, HLA B27, XXXXXXX Anti DsDNA, ESR, CRP, complete blood counts, ASLO titres to rule out some of the cause of joint pains
User:Master check is ok. Will it cover all this
Doctor:These tests will tell us if she has rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatic arthralgia, osteoarthritis
User:OK approximately how much will it cost doctor
Doctor:Master check does not cover all these, it will only include ESR and complete blood counts
Doctor:I am not sure, but it may cost you around 4 to 5 thousand rupees
Doctor:Once you get these tests done you should consult a orthopedic surgeon
Doctor:based on these reports the doctor should be able to prescribe you appropriate medicines.
