Doctor :   yes, frequent thrush or yeast infections are associated with diabetes. also the inhalers sometimes can give you thrush after long term use
User :   are the symptoms of pre diabetes simialar to those of type 2?

User :   ok, thank you soo very much doctor, i do have one last question..... will the tonsillitis subside one the thrush is gone, or do i need to sek treatment for that also, it is not painful, i just noticed them when i was looking in the mirror at my tongue
Doctor :   the tonsillitis should subside with the treatment for thrush. if it persists, you might need to take antibiotics
Doctor :   so continue with gargling everyday even when infection subsides for atleast 2 times a day
Doctor :   also the regular warm salt water gargling will help prevent tonsillitis
