User :   Hi Doctor, I am 11 weeks pregnant now. My Doc has asked me to use Corion 5000 Injection (once in 4 days) for another 1 week(been using this from 2 months now).
Also doctor asked me to use Sugest 200mg, thrice a day.Now Doc asked to use Duvadilan Retard tablet twice a daily. I heard that its not good to the baby, Please suggest

Doctor :   It is given to pregnant ladies to relax the uterus. to avoid bleeding during pregnancy. In case of lower placenta it also help. It is approved by FDA. There is no known side effect to either mother or baby

Doctor :   Corion is human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) which is an enzyme and is used for a variety of indications. HCG is used in the injectable form as well as in the gel form to enhance ovulation and chances of conception. If the doctor you consulted has advised to continue with injections of HCG, it is likely that the underlying problem could be related to inadequate secretion of the hormones required to continue pregnancy
