User :   I am recovering from an Akle fracture which has been operated.....

User :   I am currently undergoing physiotherapy for angle muscle mobility

User :   the question that I had was.. the physiotherapist is using his hands to move my ankle .. upoward and downward movement and rotation.... He has been pressing the ankle with some amount of force... will this cause any trouble.

Doctor :   no the joint needs to be remobilised
User :   there is a slight pain in the muscles... is that expected?
Doctor :   the movement is necessary to preserve the movements

Doctor :   the muscle stretch will cause pain

Doctor :   but unbearable pain may have to be reevaluated

User :   I am able to lift my heel but it is the top portion of the ankle where the mobility is less.... Is that a cause for anxiety... it is only the 4th day today with the physio

Doctor :   some amount of stiffness can be anticipated
Doctor :   i suggest you to wait till you finish some more sessions of physiotherapy
