User :   yes i have difficulty in conceiving, im married since 2 yrs, i have PCOD from long time, now periods are regular for past 8-9 months

User :   yes im undergoing the treatment for PCOD, my drugs are Diamet and to conceive Letov from 1st day till 10th day and from 24th day Regulate....
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   No free fluid in Cul De sac does not indicate that you are not releasing eggs.
User :   ok....
Doctor :   Normally free fluid is present in all phases of the cycle and sometime its presence can also indicate infection.
User :   the gyn has advised me to have the follicular study done on 17th day i.e after two days?? should I contact my hubby during this period???
Doctor :   The "cul-de-sac" is the space in the lower pelvis below the tubes and the ovaries. If there were a ruptured ovarian cyst or any mass, fluid is usually seen in this area. The sonographer is merely saying that there is no free fluid or masses, which is the normal state
Doctor :   Yes you can have intercourse during this period.
User :   I have bilateral polycysts in my overies, does it mean that i cant conceive ???
Doctor :   It might be that eggs will be released in a day or so since right now they are not released.
Doctor :   PCOD does cause problems in conceiving but it does not indicate that you cannot conceive, by proper and regular treatment you can conceive.
User :   if at all I conceive with the cysts present in my ovaries??? will it affect my baby or are there any chances of miscarriage?
Doctor :   Yes you can conceive with the cysts and it would not harm your baby.
Doctor :   But you need to be extra careful throughout pregnancy as miscarriage chances are there.
User :   So it means, when the eggs are released and ruptured , the pregency would happen?
User :   my report says: i have E.T 5.2mms, what does it mean?
Doctor :   In PCOD the ovulation that is the release of eggs is affected so gynac is doing the follicular study to see when is the egg being released from the ovary.
Doctor :   It indicates endometrial thickness which is the inner lining of uterus.
User :   5.2 mms is normal or am I having the difference in the size?
Doctor :   Endometrial thickness varies according to the cycle time.
Doctor :   It is not unusual.
Doctor :   Have you followed what i have said?
User :   ok, Is it feasible to have the laproscopy done at this time and would it affect my Uterus ?
User :   yes i did follow
Doctor :   Laproscopy for the cysts
User :   yes
Doctor :   Were your hormonal levels checked?
Doctor :   You van wait for laproscopy as sometimes if there are abnormal hormone levels then cyst again arise after Laproscopy

Doctor :   PCOD does cause weight gain, hair growth, tiredness etc
User :   I am 5.3 ft tall and i was 86 kgs now i have reduced it to 82 kgs...... should i reduce my weight drastically? is this the factor which is affecting me from conceiving??
Doctor :   Weight should never be reduced drastically, keep your diet in control and do regular exercise. Weight is not the only factor which helps in conceiving
Doctor :   Unless and until ovaries start releasing eggs it will affect conceiving.
User :   I am told by my friends that only if I reduce weight I can conceive and my gynac is also advising me to reduce weight by 10 -15 kgs??
Doctor :   You should reduce weight but that is not the only factor which helps in conceiving. Even if you reduce the weight and eggs are not being released then how will fertilization be possible.
User :   my gynac has advised me to have the intercourse b/w 14th- 18th , r these the correct dates to have intercourse?
Doctor :   Yes these are the peak time when eggs are released and you can conceive and there are high chances of fertilization.
